Philosophy & Inclusion Guidelines

Here at Suppertime CEO we believe in helping readers solve the dinnertime dilemma AND in helping content creators by supporting their hard work. We want to be your trusted guide to finding quality recipes to fit your real life needs. You can expect:

Human Editorial Judgement: Every single recipe on this site has been reviewed by a real person. We do not use AI to scrape or generate or mass import recipes. We evaluate each and every one for clarity, time commitment, energy level, dietary attributes and more.

Centering Creators: We do not host recipes on this site. We don’t even host ingredients or instructions. All of our recipe cards link directly to the original creator’s full recipe on their website. This ensures they receive the full credit, traffic and authority signals for their content. And it helps readers find new favorite creators to follow!

Custom Collections: We want to save you time and energy. Our collections are intended to be customized, unique groupings of recipes designed to meet you in your exact season of life. These are not the usual categories or round-ups.

How We Choose Recipes

We aim to include recipes from a very wide array of sources, publishers, bloggers and content creators. We evaluate recipes to ensure they are well tested with clear instructions, realistic time estimates and quality notes.

Our collections will specify the specific criteria being used for including those recipes, such as what qualifies as “high protein” or “ADHD friendly,” so that you know exactly what to expect. The benefit of our human curation is we can make real-life judgement calls about what ingredients might be commonly found in a pantry and whether the 5-minute prep time seems do-able.

Our recipes:

  • Are well-organized with clear quantities for ingredients and easy-to-follow recipe instructions.
  • Are thoroughly tested for consistent quality so you can have success making the recipe too.
  • Have helpful notes from creators who demonstrate authority and expertise and who have gained reader trust.
  • Use accessible ingredients that can be commonly found at a regular grocery store, unless the collection is curated for a specific niche.

How Creators Benefit

We are committed to supporting food bloggers and recipe creators in this changing digital landscape. (I myself am a food blogger of more than 11 years so I get it.)

By including your recipe or recipes in our highly targeted collections, we hope to drive:

  • Traffic: We link to your website for the full recipe, including ingredients and instructions, to drive readers to you.
  • Exposure to new audiences: Readers who connect with your content and style can become new fans and followers.
  • Topical authority: These backlinks from highly curated, editorial driven collections send signals to search engines and AI bots about your area of expertise (such as easy dinners, high protein meals, freezer friendly cooking, etc.) This will help you be seen and recommended.
  • Repeat exposure: You can gain additional visibility and authority if your recipes are featured across multiple collections.

And to be clear about our ethical commitment:

  1. We never host or repost full recipes.
  2. We do not copy ingredients or instructions.
  3. We do not use AI to produce or replicate recipe content.
  4. We always link back to the original recipe creator.
  5. We lead with humanity, wanting to support and connect home cooks and recipe creators.

How to Request Inclusion

If you have a recipe you would like to see included, we would love to have you submit it. This can be a recipe from your site, if you are a content creator, or a favorite recipe you have made and loved that you think other readers would benefit from as well.

Coming soon, we will have a “Submit a Recipe” button on all of our collection pages – and below. To be clear, these submissions are treated as suggestions and do not automatically get approved or added. A real human person on our team will be evaluating each and every one to see if they are a good fit to add to our system and to any relevant collections. If they do not meet our standards, they will not be included.
